I am a Regional Lead Practitioner who works for a large Multi-Academy Trust. I have been tutoring for a number of years, even prior to qualifying as a teacher. I am incredibly personable and can develop rapport easily.
I have been tutoring since approximately 2014 and qualified to teach, after instructing for 2 years, in 2017. I have since proved myself in each position that I have held to a point where I am considered an expert in my field and assist schools within my trust by demonstrating best practice in teaching and supporting heads of science and new teachers alike.
I believe in a personalised, humanistic approach to teaching and tutoring. I help identify strengths and weaknesses to provide the praise that is needed to build confidence and highlight areas where work is needed. I encourage my students and tutees to learn through making mistakes as understanding why the mistakes were made (especially if through misconception) is the key to ensuring it is not repeated.
