I am a 23 year old graduate beginning work as a civil engineer in the nuclear industry. I am sociable, friendly guy and find a lot of enjoyment in teaching! I live in the Lake district but am currently based around Oxfordshire.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in the learning support unit at Kelso High School to provide both small classes and individuals with maths tuition. While studying for my masters I was able to assist undergraduates with both engineering coursework and laboratory work.

Tutoring Approach

There is no replacement for face to face teaching! However, as this is currently not often possible, huge progress can be made through online tuition. Interactive whiteboards and video calling allow me to simulate the classroom environment. The students goals are discussed before each lesson so that no time is wasted and a tailored teaching experience can be made for each individual. Whether preparing for exams or stuck with a part of the syllabus, I am able to focus down onto the desired topic for a streamlined teaching approach!
