Hello! I'm Beth and I've been a language teacher for over 20 years. I really love to be able to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with my students. I have a Bachelor's degree in French and German from Emory University in the United States, and I studied Spanish at the University of Salamanca in Spain. I also hold a UK QTS certificate (Qualified Teacher Status), as well as a CELTA certificate (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
I have taught and tutored French, Spanish, and English as a Second Language (ESL) for over 20 years. I have experience preparing students for various UK exams, including GCSEs and A-Levels. I also have experience helping adults with all three languages for travel or work.
In addition, I've been teaching English, French, and Spanish online for the last three years, using various platforms including Zoom. I am ready to teach you however you are comfortable and am available both online or for in-person lessons.
I think it's important to be excited and patient as a teacher. I enjoy teaching and meet students where they are so I can customise each lesson for individual students depending on their goals and needs. I have a vast selection of resources, both printed and online which we can use, or I am happy to work with any textbooks that you have as well. Please feel free to ask me any questions you have, and I will be happy to answer!
