Experienced teacher (including A-Level) passionate about helping students reach their goals! I enjoy supporting students with whatever they need, so they are successful. I graduated from the university number 1 globally for International Development, and would consider myself a human geography but equally love teaching physical geography.
I have worked in education since Jan 2020, in which I have had various roles. My true passion has been teaching geography for 3 of those years. I have taught Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-level. I have experience in developing student's knowledge and understanding of content in line with a range of exam specifications, as well as developing exam skills. This includes short answer and longer answer question which students often find more challenging. I am able to work with students on past papers, including marking and providing detailed feedback.
I am a caring person who sees potential in every student. I use the right scaffolding to provide the best structure to help students reach their goals. I get to know students as individuals, so I can help them learn better. I will listen to you and the student to identify knowledge gaps and specific needs. I will also help students with exam technique as this is also a major part of the exam process. Please do get in touch, so you can get to know me and my approach better.
