Tutoring Experience

My journey in teaching began during my high school years when I participated in various work experiences at numerous schools in and around London. This enthusiasm for teaching continued throughout my undergraduate degree, as I actively sought opportunities to share my knowledge taking on teaching modules in schools in the Nottingham area.

Upon completing my Master's degree in Chemistry, I embarked on a new chapter in my career by building my own business as a self-employed tutor. In addition, I also collaborated with several international agencies as a free agent, providing top-quality tutoring services to a diverse range of students. Throughout my medical degree, I continued to tutor prospective medical students and biomedical science majors, refining my teaching skills and expanding my subject matter expertise.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, my teaching experience took a more practical turn as I engaged in didactic teaching on hospital wards. This invaluable experience allowed me to educate medical students on crucial practical skills and facilitate group discussions on topics pertinent to ward-based work. Examples of such topics include acid-base balance on renal wards and investigating the causes of falls and subsequent work-up in elderly patients on geriatric wards.
