Tutoring Experience

As a qualified teacher, with QTS, I have extensive experience teaching across the curriculum with a variety of pupils. Likewise, I have been tutoring for many years and also work as a GCSE Examiner.

I understand that unfortunately schools just can't cover it all. Often, spellings, handwriting, reading, comprehension, multiplication, arithmetic and reasoning topics are just brushed over. NOT Strategically TAUGHT. That's where I come in!

The Primary years are the most prudent. Once the foundation is set children excel independently. During the secondary years creativity skills are developed identify success, and maturely self manage criteria.

Tutoring Approach

  • INDIVIDUALISE - Each pupil will be provided with work suited to their ability and aptitude. Out of hours support is provided. Adjusting my style to suit the needs of my students and going the extra length to provide a holistic and successful teaching environment. Homework to enrich and decode each session, with immediate feedback. Resulting in rapid progression. Supported with video tutorials specific to each child as and when needed.
  • NUTURE - I am not just a tutor! I am your mentor and coach. The mental health of each pupil is just as important as academic achievement. A happy, balanced child is a successful child!
  • EXAM SUCCESS - TECHNIQUES, PRESSURES, APPROACHES & CRITERIA. Over and beyond what the curriculum requires.
