I’m thrilled to be starting a new chapter in London as I pursue a Master’s in AI at Imperial College. After spending the last couple years in New York, I’ve gained incredible insights into how successful people think and how to grow in various aspects of life. This experience has truly shaped my approach to teaching and learning.
Math has always fascinated me, and I’m excited to delve into the theoretical concepts behind AI.
Outside of my studies, I love focusing on wellness and fitness. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially going on long walks with friends. These activities keep me energised and balanced, and I hope to bring that positive energy into our tutoring sessions.
I’ve have been tutoring students for over 7 years, guiding students through various levels of mathematics. I first started tutoring GCSE maths when I was 14 in year 10, where I helped my student to achieve a grade two grades higher than predicted. I have tutored students of all ages, both in person and online, over the years.
I tailor my classes to suit the student, their learning types and abilities, their age and the time in the school year in order to achieve the best results.
My teaching method combines a solid foundation in concepts with practical problem-solving exercises. I emphasise understanding the 'why' behind mathematical principles, not just the 'how'. This approach helps students build confidence in the subject. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, ensuring that students grasp the fundamentals before moving on to more advanced topics. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to achieve their best.
Lesson can be 60, 90 or 120 minutes. This duration allows us to cover material thoroughly while keeping students engaged and focused. We use the time to review previous concepts, introduce new topics, and work through practice problems together.
