All levels are welcome from beginner to advanced!
Bogdan is a disciple of the Franco-Belgian “old school” of violin playing developed by Pierre Marsick, Joseph Joachim and Leopold Auer then followed by violin masters including Jascha Heifetz, Jacques Thibaud, George Enescu. Bogdan's violin school lineage is directly linked to G. Enescu (one of Yehudi Menhin's teachers).
Freedom of expression in musical interpretation combined with elegant bowing technique is all of paramount importance to Bogdan’s approach.
Whilst Bogdan studied the other main schools of violin (German, Russian and Hungarian), he takes the best elements of all and incorporates them when needed into the Franco-Belgian violin school.
The violin technique is never taught as a purely mechanical exercise and each student will have a different path according to their abilities and needs.
Musicality will be cultivated and nourished.
The students will be taught how to identify problems and practice efficiently.
Online lessons are available but in-person lessons are recommended.
