¡Hola! I'm Brenda, a passionate and qualified Spanish teacher with over 9 years of experience helping students connect with the Spanish language and culture. My journey started in Mexico, where I lived during high school and fell in love with the language.

I later became a qualified teacher in Brazil, earning two degrees in education, and went on to teach Spanish in schools, private classes, and online. I’ve since moved to the UK, where I completed a Master’s in Education, Power and Social Change at Birkbeck, University of London, and continued working with diverse students in London schools.

I’m fluent in Spanish, Portuguese (my native language), and English, and I love helping students grow in confidence as they learn to express themselves in Spanish.

Spanish isn’t just a subject for me—it’s a way to open hearts and minds to new cultures and perspectives.

Tutoring Experience

I began teaching Spanish in Brazil, where I worked in both primary and secondary schools, as well as private language institutes. Over the years, I’ve worked with children, teenagers, and adults, helping each learner gain confidence and real-life communication skills.

After moving to the UK, I gained valuable classroom experience supporting students in London schools—especially those learning English as an additional language or with special educational needs. Alongside that, I’ve continued teaching Spanish online, adapting lessons to suit each student’s level, goals, and learning style.

Whether it’s preparing for exams, travelling, or simply enjoying the language, I’ve helped many learners reach their goals—and enjoy the journey too!
