Head of a large Economics and Business Studies Department for over thirty years. I have been involved as an examiner for a number of years and have been involved with the production of Economics texts for both KS5 and KS4. At Present Head of Economics and Business Studies at a independent school in Gloucestershire.
As above l have spent many years teaching Economics and Business Studies at both KS5 and KS4. My full time employment has been in the maintained sector teaching up to Oxbridge entry. I have worked on a part-time basis teaching Economics in three private sector schools. My last employment was for twenty two years in an Oxfordshire independent school where I was responsible for all A level Economics, teaching students from all over the world.
I understand the importance of examination outcomes and academic progression. My role is to both support students to improve confidence and work on specific areas of weakness both in terms of academic content and examination techniques.
