I am very disappointed with this tutor as it looks like money is the most important but not the student’s achievement.
My daughter has one and a half months of lessons but no commitment from a tutor's side.

Student cancelled two lessons both on the day of the lesson. Mother did not think she should have to pay for late cancellations. I let her off the first lesson but was not prepared to lose out the second time where notice was given less than an hour before the lesson. I had already given them a discount on my usual fee.
Then wanted to pay AFTER lessons because this term "looks very chaotic". I'm not prepared to book a student who may not turn up and then wont pay for missed lesson.

Brian has been teaching my son for over 12mths, and has made great progress and development with his English GCSE. He was graded a D and below and has already moved towards a C grade at the end of year 10. My son is also doing History GCSE and Brian is able to support with exam technique to support both subjects. I have also found him supportive and flexible, to my sons needs. I definitly would recommend Brian to support your son or daughter.

Brian really engages my daughter in a subject that she has lost confidence in at school. His method of teaching has already helped her learn and understand areas of History that they have both looked at during the first 2 sessions.

Brian was excellent with communication, we have arranged a meeting for Wednesday. Very prompt and easy to use this website. Also, my brother passed his re-take English module and Brian was very good at arranging extra lessons and we are very please. Communication was always thorough.

Brian is an excellent tutor. He struck up a good rapport with my son and worked well to prepare him for his history GCSE through a combination of written tasks, discussions of topics and ways to increase the depth of written answers. I highly recommend Brian as a tutor.

Brian provided my daughter with sociology tutoring for her AS level. He provided her with much needed motivation as she was struggling to focus and daunted by the hundreds of pages of print out provided by her college! He stepped in at a late stage and was very flexible re availability and use of Skype when time constraints made travel difficult. Thanks Brian!

I was disappointed he did not contact me after his first visit when he had said that he would.

Even a "sorry I cant help" would have been nice.

I did send an email explaining why I could not help out but I initially sent it to the wrong email address. Once I realised the mistake I sent an apology correctly.

Excellent teacher, very personable, structured and built rapport quickly with my son. This is our second tutor for this subject, the first one did not work out. Brian is able to give simple. straight forward explanations that are enabling him to understand the information a lot more easily. He is also giving him confidence to give ideas and thoughts to the discussions.
