My son needed help with his A level Maths shortly after Easter ahead of his June exams and we were so lucky to find Brian who was able see him face to face and also schedule time around his exam schedule for extra support. Brian is a brilliant tutor who was clear and patient with his teaching. He gave my son far more confidence and my son really felt much better going into his exams. I would recommend Brian in a heartbeat! Brian is flexible with appointments, clear with his communication, always thought about what topics to work through ahead of the lesson and always asked for feedback during exam time. Brian is calm tutor, who has good subject knowlege and is improving our daughters understaning of maths. He offered our daughter maths problems to solve after tutoring to reinforce understaning. Happy to recomend

Brian started working with our son at the start of year 7 and he was in the bottom set of maths. Our son has moved up a set during the year Brian has been supporting our son.

Brian has a very patient and calm manner. Something that was very important to us. His style of remote teaching and knowledge in mathematics has given our son so much more confidence in maths and completing test papers.

Our son looks forward to sessions with Brian knowing he’ll get the added support he needs to continue to improve.

We feel our son is being taught the key foundations and fundamentals of applying mathematical logic. Again, more important to us than just being taught how to complete an exam as Brian is teaching him lifelong skills.

Brian has also been very flexible in fitting in around our son’s other activities and appreciates a busy family life.

Brian has been a rare find for us (a life saver) and I would highly recommend his services.

Brian has now helped both of our children with their maths exams over the last few years at GCSE and A-level. Both suffered from either a lack of confidence or a little lack of motivation but thanks to Brian’s wealth of experience and calm, empathetic manner were able to develop their skills and self assurance in plenty of time to approach the challenge with a positive attitude. All of this of course during the disrupted education period that everyone has tested everyone. The whole family are indebted to Brian and I would recommend him without any hesitation. Thanks Brian!

Brian is fantastic, I asked him to help my daughter with her GCSEs a couple of years ago, which he did via home visits before lockdown and was always punctual and friendly, he has such a calm manner about him and is absolutely lovely. After her GCSEs (which she got a level 8 in thanks to Brian as well as a B in further maths) lockdown happened and I asked Brian to help again, this time with my younger daughters GCSEs and my older daughters A levels which he has done all throughout lockdown via zoom, and he's been terrific. He not only teaches them really well he always emails to find out how they have done in their tests. I'd completely recommend him to anyone :) Thanks for everything Brian, you've been a lifesaver.

Brian has been wonderful for our son. When he started with Brian he was predicted a GCSE 4/5 - two years later he is now heading for a Grade 7. Brian has bought an air of calm and given our son an increased confidence with maths, which has also greatly helped him with his Physics GCSE . Brain is also very appreciative of the busy family life and teenagers occasionally needing reminders. I would highly recommend Brian.

Brian is an extremely patient and kind Maths Tutor. My daughter, Zaire has excelled and achieved the best results and confidence in Maths with Brian. I will recommend him to all my friends and family should they need a Tutor.

Brian tutored my daughter for A level maths for around 18months. He has a very calm and motivational approach to teaching. Brian certainly helped my daughter with the confidence to achieve her potential, enabling her to tackle the most difficult tasks set.

Brian was our son's maths tutor for nearly 2 years, and we were delighted when our son recently achieved the necessary grade in his maths GCSE. Our son had some maths knowledge but lacked confidence and seldom understood what the maths questions were actually asking. Brian made him feel instantly at ease and quickly identified our son's areas of concern. Our son was relaxed enough to make many mistakes with Brian and not feel panicked or worried about saying he didn't understand and Brian was patient and methodical at each session. Brian was reliable and affordable; we had no hesitation in recommending him to friends and we are grateful for all that he has done for our son. No retake needed!

Can’t thank Brian enough for his patience and confidence building style of tuition. Without Brian I’m sure my son wouldn’t have achieved the successful result in the new style 9-1 GCSE. Highly recommend anyone using Brian.

Brian really helped my daughter in her GCSE Maths. He was calm, focussed on the key areas she needed help with and moved her from a borderline pass to a solid 6 - I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't far off a 7 in the scoring. Brian helped her develop quite a long way.

Brian really helped me a lot in our study sessions, I was not confident with my mathematics skills and I was worried about whether I would pass or not. Brian tailored his sessions to my individual needs and went through the topics thoroughly with me, he broke down the topics in clear and concise points making me understand the hard parts that I found difficult before. One of the things I really liked while studying with Brian is that he doesn't force you to work his way, if you have a way to work out a problem that is different from him and it works he won't force you to take a more difficult route to solve it. Brian I am really thankful for the help you gave me thanks to you I passed my exam and am now successfully completing my A-level's, best of luck for the future.

We cannot offer enough thanks to Brian for the efforts he has shown with our daughter, over the past few months.

His patience seemingly knows no limits and he has a very calm, methodical approach to tutoring.

All forms of communication have been excellent, with progress reports, setting & quickly marking of 'homework' along with the discussions about what has been taught in each session and what areas need to be worked on.

If anyone is looking for a Maths tutor, then we cannot recommend Brian highly enough.

What can we say about Brian ?

He has been nothing short of a miracle worker with our son in preparation for his GCSE Mathematics exams.

Punctuality and time keeping are excellent and Brian is not a clock watcher; he often stays a little longer than the allotted time and he ALWAYS gives my partner and I a "debrief" on our son's progress at the end of each session.

We email with Brian and he has supplied numerous past papers for our son to practice on. Through Brian's tuition and the practice exams, we have been able to identify areas of weakness and concern and they have been systematically addressed and for the most part rectified.

When Brian joined us, our son has failed his Christmas mocks and was experiencing mental "blocks" with certain aspects of the syllabus, having scored only 85/175.

Working with Brian - who takes the past papers away to mark and then emails the scores back - we have seen, on the last paper, this mark increase **Telephone Number Removed** A clear "pass".

We cannot recommend Brian highly enough for his one-on-one tuition skills and his support in the form of feedback etc. It was especially important to us that our son and Brian “hit it off” as our son is on the Autistic spectrum and is often uneasy with meeting new people, but Brian put him – and us – at ease from the outset.

Our son sits his exams in May and June 2016 and we have every confidence that he will, with Brian's help and encouragement, gain the pass he has worked so hard to achieve.

If you’re looking for a GCES Maths tutor, we cannot recommend Brian highly enough.
