Hi I'm Caitlin and I am a qualified secondary Mathematics teacher and leader of KS3 maths.
I have a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool and completed my PGCE at Edge Hill University.
I have a passion for enabling children to reach their full potential and to never give up before that has been achieved.

Tutoring Experience

Over the past 4 years I have been teaching in a local secondary school, teaching both KS3 and KS4 students. Recently, I have been promoted to KS3 leader of maths. During my time at university I worked for the tutor trust, this provided me with experience in tutoring before I decided to do my PGCE.

I am a hard working and dedicated person, with my first year 11 class, I would stay behind every night that they needed me to in order for them to progress with these students improving by 1 or 2 grades with four students achieving a grade 4 or 5 which was significantly above their target grade.

Specialise in foundation GCSE techniques.

Tutoring Approach

Make sure that the student has knowledge of the basic skills before moving on to something more difficult.

Communicating with students to understand what support they feel they need and what topics they struggle with the most. Create a tailored plan to help them achieve their own targets.
