I have just completed my three year undergraduate degree in UCD studying History and English. Whilst at UCD I studied both English Literature and English Language. I have also covered a wide range of historical periods whilst studying History alongside document analysis, source work and research. I have created detailed and extensive notes on study techniques, effective approaches to revision and research, question de-construction, essay planning and essay writing.

Tutoring Experience

This will be my first time formally tutoring. However, I am eager to begin to help students navigate the subjects of History and English. I wish to help them to grow and improve academically whilst also developing a love for the two subjects.

Tutoring Approach

• Tutoring will last one hour.
• Feedback will be provided on a weekly basis at the end of each session.
• Notes will be made available to students to accompany their notes.
• Classes will take place over zoom
• I will record a 20/25 minute class going over my notes and feedback for that week and then there will be a 35/40 min face to face virtual class for questions and active engagement/participation.
