My daughter has had a variety of Italian tutors over the years but now she is focusing on achieving a GCSE, Carla is proving a perfect tutor. The sessions are focused and challenging as they should be with follow up homework to continue the learning. My daughter also enjoys her as a tutor.

We are not meeting until later in September

Carla is an excellent teacher.

I studied Italian conversation with her for 8 months via Skype to prepare for the AS and A-level exams. The resources she provided were very good and her lessons were always well prepared. Having studied with several conversation teachers over the years I would say that she is particularly good at correcting mistakes while at the same time allowing her students to build up confidence and fluency in speaking. She is also very helpful in providing suggestions for alternative phrases or more complex vocab choices.

I would certainly return to Carla in the future if I wished to take the language further. I would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their speaking skills, whether for an exam or just for interest.
