Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified Biology teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. I am the Head of A-level biology at my school. I am qualified to teach pupils from an age range of 11 - 19 including A-level biology.
As an experienced examiner for 9 years, I have in-depth knowledge of what the exam board looks for, enabling me to guide students in answering questions accurately and effectively to maximise their marks.
It is all about using the correct terminology and being able to ‘unlock’ the question. I specialise in exam preparation and can help your child gain a deeper understanding of the curriculum.

We will work through the required content for the curriculum. I will provide detailed, tailored-made resources to support your child’s learning. Regular past papers will be completed so we can work on improving exam technique to maximise marks achieved in the examination.
