I am a qualified English teacher (PGCE) and experienced examiner. I have taught in top UK independent schools and international schools before becoming an online tutor. I have lived in China, Dubai and Thailand, and travelled to 130 countries. My hobbies include swimming, water polo, football, reading, creative writing and theatre.
I have 25 years' teaching experience at top UK independent schools including St Paul's Girls' School, Charterhouse, Abingdon, MGS (Manchester) and RGS Newcastle. I am a former Head of English in the UK and China, and Head of Year 13 in Dubai. As an online tutor I am approaching 3000 hours 1:1 online tuition globally.
I am an experienced examiner and can teach all boards for IGCSE/GCSE English Language and English Literature, A Level English Literature, IB English Literature (SL/HL), and IB English Language and Literature (SL/HL). I have marked 11+ and 13+ entrance exams at 9 UK independent schools. I can offer English and VR entrance exam preparation and my students have secured places at top schools globally.
