I am a fully qualified Secondary school Maths teacher based in Bristol. I have always been passionate about Maths and achieved a 2:1 Mathematics degree from Exeter University in 2013. I trained as a teacher because I really enjoy working with young people and helping support then and increase their confidence in Maths. I believe everyone can achieve their potential given the right resources.
I have taught for 3 years as a maths teacher and enjoy finding new ways of teaching mathematical concepts. For the last 2 years, I've been helping lead the maths department as a second in faculty, which has allowed me to familiarise with student intervention and stretch and challenge for higher attaining students.
I've had a large amount of experience tutoring students in intervention sessions and I am looking to help other students improve their confidence in maths, particularly in preparation for exams.
