Form a young age I've always had a passion for languages. Born in a beautiful, yet very rural part of France ( Vallée de la Cèze), languages embody a way to explore the world, discover new cultures and develop our horizons.
I have been teaching French and Spanish for over 25 years in London schools. I have a great understanding of exams requirements because I am also an examiner for GCSE and DELF qualifications.
I have nurtured my Provençal accent, so be prepared to speak French with the most mellifluous intonation!
I've taught French as a Foreign Language to students as young as 4 ( International School EaB in Paris). I also teach adults of all ages and backgrounds, some preparing for the DELF examinations and others focusing on developing their speaking skills. I am also a part time French teacher in a secondary school in North London.
I have been tutoring students from prestigious institutions such as St Paul's, Eton College, Queensgate, Dame Alice Owen's School and Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle de Londres.
I have experience in the following exams:
* Diplôme National du Brevet
* GCSE (AQA and EDEXCEL)
* IGCSE (Cambridge and EDEXCEL)
* A LEVEL (AQA and EDEXCEL)
* Cambridge Pre-U
* DELF / DALF (Levels A1 to C2)
I am highly dedicated to the success of all students and I focus on ensuring that all achieve their full potential. The formula for success is a combination of core elements that ensure the highest performances. Students need to believe in their ability to do well and achieve their dreams. In that respect my approach includes a fair bit of coaching. My students feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes because they learn from them.
Students learn better when teachers show a high level of enthusiasm and excellent pedagogy that engages them at all times. I know it is equally important to adapt teaching to individuals.
I am a joyful person and I believe performance and productivity are directly linked to feeling positive and fulfilled.
