I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession.
I got class honours for my BSc Engineering degree and the MSc Engineering degree. I have been tutoring since I was a graduate. I worked as a temporary lecturer soon after I passed out from university.
Then I started my professional career as a Mechanical Engineer and gained experience in various industries. After few years into my professional career I thought it is the time to re-start my tutoring career. The experience gained during my professional career helps me to explain complex theories using simplified real world examples.
All in all I am delighted to get back to tutoring again.
I have a CRB certificate done few years ago and it is expired now. I reapplied for a new CRB and waiting for it at the moment.
I worked as a temporary lecturer for 6 months in University of Peradenay, Sri Lanka. I have been tutoring Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to many GCE O/L and A/L s students (one to one) in the past and most of them got great results (mostly A+ or A s).
I strongly believe that the approach needs to be unique to that particular student. That way the teaching technique, excersises and examples will be customised to the students requirement. I have taken this approach in the past and my students gained great results. Also I carefully select examples from real world applications and apply/use them where necessary.
