Trainee teacher, with QTS expected in July 2025 looking to support students during the current exam period and through the summer to prepare them for the next academic year. Well versed in learning and teaching all levels from KS3-KS4 with some A-Level experience during teaching placements. Having worked in industry for 5 years before completing my teacher training, I can apply much of the curriculum such as chemical separation techniques like distilling and and metabolism to real world situations, as well as being well versed in the different routes robust science knowledge can take aspiring young people. As part of my role in the food and beverage industry, I worked with multinational companies delivering quality assessment and flavour training to professionals of all stature, working with the leading soft-drinks -and whisky manufacturers worldwide.
One year school centred teacher training reflected in the price, as well as flavour training which conveyed difficult chemical concepts to non-scientists.
Diagnosed ADHD female with an understanding of building content at a pace that is right for the student with lots of support and dynamic techniques that work for the students. Lots of mirroring and bring the student along with my processing and thinking to help cement ideas and take science from abstract to concrete.
