I’m an bubbly and enthusiastic teacher who loves to see people succeed. It’s all about building confidence in students and helping them recognise that they can do it! Every approach is different and adapted to fit each student’s needs. Outside of the classroom I’m a keen athlete, I Olympic Lift and also take part in Crossfit.
I’m a qualified Teacher of Mathematics and speak fluent Spanish having lived, and studied Economics in Spain. Within school I have been part of Pastoral Teams supporting young students in difficult situations.
Update March 2020
Due to the circumstances I will now be conducting tutoring online via Facetime/Whatsapp Video Calls. This is to ensure the safety of student, families, and myself. We are currently in a situation where some schools are partially shut, or soon will be fully shut. As a result many students will be without regular contact to their normal teachers. It is so important to maintain some routine and learning each day whilst away from school will enable this.
One of the biggest obstacles I see in Maths is a lack of confidence, and a fear of getting things wrong. There is nothing wrong with making mistakes! We just need to use these moments to help ourselves improve. Everyone learns in different ways and we will find the best methods for you to help your achieve your goals. I offer additional sessions during the daytime during school holidays.
