I am a dedicated primary school teacher with broad experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, with a strong focus on inclusive education for diverse classes, including high EAL and SEN needs. As Art Lead, I’ve developed a school-wide art curriculum that celebrates creativity, organized regular assemblies, and led initiatives to elevate the arts within the school. I am skilled in multi-agency collaboration, working closely with various professionals to create comprehensive support plans tailored to each student’s needs.
Alongside my teaching experience, I spent two years working as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) on a busy major trauma ward at Queens Medical Canter. During this time, I cared for patients with complex needs, helping them through both their physical and emotional recovery. I was hands-on in providing top-quality care and worked closely with a range of professionals to ensure every patient had a care plan that suited them, offering plenty of empathy and support along the way.
My varied background means I’ve had plenty of experience supporting people as a whole, whether that’s in the classroom or during tough times in a hospital setting.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive teaching experience across various year groups, from Nursery to Year 6, in diverse and multicultural settings. My roles have included leading Year 1 and Year 2 classes, where I employed differentiated instruction, closely monitored progress, and implemented targeted interventions to support students with SEN, EAL, and Pupil Premium funding. I have designed and delivered comprehensive curriculums, including developing a school-wide art program that raised the profile of creative learning. My experience also includes managing phonics interventions, preparing students for end-of-stage assessments, and supporting transitions between key stages. I have collaborated with multi-agency teams to create tailored care plans, engaged parents through workshops and regular communication, and presented professional development sessions on enhancing art education. Additionally, my time as a supply teacher honed my adaptability and ability to quickly assess and meet the needs of diverse classroom environments. My work has always focused on fostering inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning experiences for all students.

Tutoring Approach

When it comes to tutoring, my focus is on understanding each student’s unique needs and helping them feel confident in their learning. I create a supportive and positive environment where they can build on their strengths and tackle challenges without feeling overwhelmed. I adapt my teaching to suit their individual pace and interests, using creative and engaging methods to keep lessons fun and motivating. Whether it’s boosting their reading skills, building confidence in tricky subjects, or encouraging a love for learning, my aim is to help them achieve their best while feeling supported every step of the way.
