Hi, I am an experienced Italian mother tongue based in London over the last 20 years. I have a Master Degree in International Politics including Foreign languages studies.
I work in the performing arts sector and teach Italian since after graduating over the last 25 years.
I have taught Italian over the last 25 years one to one, group classes for work or leisure purposes.
My way of teaching is tailored to the client needs and is very personal. There are clients whose Italian is already very developed and they mainly want to practice their conversation skills and so we focus on that. On the contrary, others are willing to focus on both grammar and speaking. Listening is also one of the most difficult challenge for students so we create interactive situations in which they have to deal with specific situations (for example "in a shop" or "in a restaurant" etc..) so that we create a proper dialogue. It also depends on the level of course. I teach beginners to advanced level. I often devide the lesson into three parts: grammar, conversation, exercises. I teach adults.
