I am an experienced Geography teacher of 12 years and have SQA marker experience with an excellent understanding of standards. I teach Geography to all year groups at an Aberdeenshire school including S1-S3 BGE, National 4/5 and Higher Geography levels.
I tailor tutoring to individual requirements to meet learners needs.

I have all necessary documentation (PVG and full GTCS registration). I hold an “outstanding” A2 grade in a masters-level course: Mentoring and Coaching in professional contexts from the University of Aberdeen and have an excellent working understanding of mentoring and coaching models to support pupils, new trainee teachers and struggling members of staff within the teaching profession. I have adapted a range of resources for students to utilise via online and blended learning.

I have developed multiple techniques to help students express their knowledge to maximise success.

Previous feedback has highlighted my ability to explain the necessary concepts in a simple way that students understand and sharing extensive revision resources.

Sessions are £35 per hour, for 1, 1.5 or 2 hours.
I offer tutoring after school or on weekends, subject to availability. In person or online.
