I am currently a Post Doctoral Researcher at Imperial College London where I completed my PhD last year. I am currently working in a corrosion chemistry and metallurgy group within the department of Materials. Previously I completed my Masters of Research in Nuclear Energy at Imperial College and a Masters of Chemistry at the University of Leicester. I have a keen interest in all facets of science and love to share that passion with students in order to help get the grades you are aiming for and create a good subject knowledge.
Before going back to education I spent a year teaching at a variety of schools learning and developing teaching skills with the goal of going onto teaching higher education after completing my PhD. I have spent the last 4 years doing various outreach programs teaching a class about the benefits/ application of materials science during different activities.
I am very flexible in what you would like to do with the tutoring. I am happy to go through course material from school and consolidate that or work with you to create a learning system that will help you develop your knowledge the best. I would use the first session to get to know you and figure out what we can do to be the most helpful.
