I am a very experienced languages teacher with 30 years of teaching French to A Level and Spanish and Italian to GCSE.
I am equally adept at teaching Italian and Spanish to GCSE.
I enjoy the challenge of teaching languages to young people and developing a rapport with them.

Tutoring Experience

Since 1992 I have taught in 5 schools in the UK and Canada and have specific expertise in French A Level and GCSE and Spanish and Italian GCSE.
I have taught on and run Easter revision courses for over 15 years.

Tutoring Approach

I think that understanding grammar is key to success at GCSE and A level for all ability levels.
1:1 teaching is especially helpful for this.
I am friendly and a good communicator and use a variety of techniques, including books if necessary, presentations and selecting the best websites for help too.
