Christine has been invaluable in supporting our son with his French A level. She immediately formed a bond and made the lessons enjoyable rather than a chore which is groundbreaking for our son!

I have been learning with Christine for nearly 12 months and I feel I have made a massive progress (I started as an extremely rusty adult learner) Christine is incredibly patient and fully understands the life demands placed on adult learners and has shown flexibility accordingly. I have found Christine to be extremely reliable and punctual and I enjoy her friendly teaching style. I feel each lesson is well balanced with plenty of oral practice. Christine is an extremely experienced tutor and has an endless knowledge of the French language and French culture. I have total faith in her abilities. I would not hesitate to recommend Christine to anyone wishing to further develop their French language skills.

Christine is an engaging and thorough tutor and my son really enjoys his lessons with her. Having extra sessions with her has helped re-kindle his enthusiasm for learning French.

Fantastic tutor. In-depth knowledge of the exam requirements and mark schemes, which is helpful, but also dedicated to teaching French as a language rather than merely a means to passing an exam. I don't think you'll find a better tutor for French than Christine.

Christine has been great with helping me to prepare for my A level french speaking exam and has provided lots of resources and help. We’ve been through speaking cards and she has been fantastic to discuss my IRP with.

Christine’s tutoring has been an extremely positive experience for my son and has given him confidence to contribute more in class. Her knowledge of the current GCSE curriculum is excellent, her lessons engaging and most importantly for me my son is enjoying his weekly lesson and wants to continue.

Christine started to teach my daughter a few weeks ago. Her lessons are always very well structured and well prepared. My daughter's weaknesses were well identified and addressed in Christine's tailored lessons. The communication between us has also been excellent as Christine provides very detailed feedbacks. As a result, my daughter has become more confident in her learning. As parent, I am very impressed by Christine's high quality lessons.

We engaged Christine just a few months before the French GCSE purely to help our daughter with speaking practice (her school have given her next to nowt). After only four sessions (more to come) our daughter is so much more confident. Christine knows the exam boards inside out - so impressed that we have asked her to help our Y11 son prepare for A-level study this summer. Recommend highly for anyone who is exam-focused

Efficient service

Christine has been an amazing tutor and has really helped me strengthen my skills. I was struggling most with the speaking aspect and Christine gave me really good tips and a lot of practice. I have now received an A* in French, thanks to her. I really recommend her as she knows what the exam board requires and is able to guide you to fulfil those requirements.

Christine tutored my daughter for the last 5/6 months of her A Level. She really helped my daughter to make the progress she needed to achieve her desired grade. She improved her confidence and her enjoyment of the subject. She had a lovely manner with my daughter and made her feel relaxed so that she enjoyed the tuition. I would highly recommend Christine as a tutor and only wish that I had discovered her sooner.

The best French tutor out there ! Christine helped me with French conversation and exam preparation during my A-Levels and she was so good I chose to go to her again for conversation lessons while at university and also for help with preparing DELF/DALF exams.

I chose Christine when my daughter received an offer for Cambridge and required an A star in French . Christine was excellent tutoring my daughter and gave her confidence and expert advice on how to greatly improve her confidence, showing my daughter where she was going wrong and how to gain the most marks possible in the exam. Christine is a wonderful tutor. Our French has improved immeasurably. We can now understand spoken French well and our ability to speak French has greatly improved. With Christine you also learn about French life and culture which supports the whole experience. We would highly recommend her.

We were looking for very specific requirements of a tutor, I wanted a native speaker who had worked with high achievers (my daughter needed A* A* A to get to Cambridge), in the local area.We were not disappointed.My daughter attended Christine's house each week for an hour from Feb until her exam.She eventually got 98% which gave her an A*.I have no hesitation in recommending Christine.Her teaching style is excellent; a good mix of methods as well as the setting of homework and guiding to specific websites, newspapers etc. Christine is approachable, caring and understanding and uses humour and warmth.We cannot thank you enough Christine x
