I am a retired teacher of maths and science. I offer maths, further maths and physics to A level, maths physics and science to GCSE and KS2 and KS3 maths and science, online.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS) and a member of the Association of Teachers of Mathematics.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate.
I love my work. My teachers changed my life, and I would like to think that I can help my students to fulfill their potentials.
I have taught in grammar, comprehensive and independent schools, and in a further education college. Since my retirement, I have worked as a private tutor. Most of my work has been with students at school or college here in the UK, but I have had some international students.
I have worked as an examiner for A level physics.
I am flexible about my approach to tutoring, as the needs of each student are different. One of the big advantages of one-to-one is that you can spend as long as necessary on any individual topic, and it is much easier for a student to say "I don't understand" to a tutor.
