Chris tutored my daughter via Zoom link for the purpose of resitting her Maths GCSE which she failed twice. She was tutored from Sept 2021 to June 2022. At the start after assessment she was scoring 31% which equates to a Level 2. I am happy to say she has now passed her GCSE with a level 4. Chris is very attentive and provided great feedback to me throughout. Would highly recommend.

Chris is an excellent maths tutor who helped my son move from a grade 2 on leaving school to a pass grade in the 15 months he was tutored. Chris' excellent interpersonal skills really helped my son with the fact he suffers from aspergers. I would recommend Chris to anyone needing maths tutoring.

I would just like to thank Chris for the tutoring he gave my son.
My son had an hour a week with Chris, our experience was positive. Chris has a very patient and professional approach to tutoring.
My son achieved a grade 9 pass. Having sat his maths exam in June 2017. Many thanks Chris, I would have no hesitation in recommending you!
Thanks Tim. Max was a pleasure to teach

Christopher worked hard with my daughter and managed to get her GCSE grades from an E to a C in a matter of 2/3 months. Very helpful, friendly and we recommended his services to many other parents or daughter's friends.

Chris tutored our son last year 2014 in GCSE maths. He had already gained a C grade in his lower tier maths and was looking to increase his grade to a B in the higher tier. Chris came to our house each week and his time keeping was generally good although he was dependant on his wife driving him to us as he did not drive. He was always very pleasant and polite, as was his wife and provided us with feedback as to how the sessions had gone. Unfortunately despite his best effort William failed to gain the B he desired but did achieve a C grade.
Hi Louisa, It was a pleasure teaching Will, and I am glad he passed the Higher Tier GCSE Maths exam. The main reasons Will didn't get a higher grade were three-fold: 1) He had retention issues, which his school highlighted (possible dyscalculia). 2) He hardly did any homework for me, despite me asking him to work on exam papers I gave him each week. This slowed down his progress, as if he had done his homework, we could have focused more in the lessons on areas he was getting wrong, rather than mw having to spend some of the lessons watching get some questions right (which he should have done for homework. 3) At Christmas I did tell you and your husband, that in my opinion we needed to increase the lessons to 2 hours per week for the last 6 months. Unfortunately, you didn't agree to stepping it up to 2 hours per week, and as I got more in demand for my tuition nearer the exam, I only had space to increase to 1.5 hours per week for the last 6 weeks or so. So… basically Will needed more tuition time to get the B grade, especially as he wa,s as you explained ,receiving some poor teaching from his teacher in the Autumn term, which set his progress back. I provided as high quality tuition as I have done to many other students over the years, who have improved by 2 grades in the same time period, but these other factors make any tutors' job that bit harder to get that extra grade improvement. So, overall I think I deserved at least a 4 out of 5 for my tuition of Will, as grade improvement is also down to how hard the student works as well as the tutors' performance. By the way, I now have 20 students per week travelling to me, so travel is not an issue anymore. All the best. Christopher.

This is the first time I have needed a tutor and was honestly nervous about the whole process. Christopher has been excellent. He's a professional tutor with an awful a lot of maths knowledge. He has tailed the lessons to my individual needs and I have made good progress using the new methods and advise Chris has given me. I would definitely recommend him as an numeracy qts tutor.

Chris has been a great help for my daughter. He is always full of enthusiasm and praise which encourages my daughter to try harder. He works in a flexible manner and always finishes the set tasks before ending the session each week.
