Hello! My name is Chrysanthi and I am currently an MSc Epidemiology student at Imperial College London. I have recently graduated from University College of London with first-class honours in BSc Mathematics.
Three adjectives that describe me are: friendly, patient and hardworking. My passion for maths has grown throughout my school and university life and , I am really looking forward to inspire and benefit the students I work with as much as possible!
I have been tutoring A-level, GCSE, and secondary school mathematics for more than a year.
My tutoring style is to first of all guide you through the key concepts of the area that we will cover in the session by explaining them verbally and taking notes. Next, we shall go through some examples shown in steps in order to gain a deeper understanding of the subject. Towards the end of the session, I will set some past paper questions for you to work through alone and we shall be going over them in the last couple of minutes.
However, the lesson plan is flexible. So, please feel free to discuss about how it can be adjusted for different aims and pace of each student. My ultimate aim is to prepare my students for exams and boost their confidence and abilities in the subject.
