Hi! I am Cindy and I've recently graduated from Imperial with a BSc in Biological Sciences and UCL with a MSc in Immunology.
Having achieved all A*s for my GCSE & A-Level subjects, and an A for Further Maths, I am familiar with an effective and efficient learning method, which will bound to improve my students' understandings of the subject.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive experience tutoring students between the ages of 10-17 in STEM subjects, many of whom have reflected to me an increase in interest in the subject they received tuition on and better grades in exams.
I have also helped various family members in their applications to universities, in both academic and extracurricular aspects.

Tutoring Approach

I feel it is essential that students truly grasp the basic principles of the subject before moving on to practicing exam-style questions. After communicating with the student, I will understand which topics of the subject they require help with and specifically target those areas to help elevate their understanding and raise their grades.
It is also important to explore further interests in scientific areas that my students are interested in! If they wish, I am more than happy to introduce them to more intricate levels of academia as a gateway to higher education.
