I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher and private tutor, having gained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through the Teach First Leadership Development Programme, whilst simultaneously achieving a 'Distinction' in my Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). I also hold a Master's Degree (MA) in Historical Research and a Bachelor's Degree (BA hons) in History. I have a 100% success rate in ensuring my tutoring students achieve or exceed their academic targets in their SATs and 11+ entrance exams, with all of my students so far being accepted into their chosen private schools.

I have taught successfully in a wide variety of school settings, including within specialist centres for children with additional needs, and schools with a high population of EAL and SEND students. My approach to teaching is friendly and supportive. I tailor lessons to suit the individual needs, aims and interests of my students, as I feel that when children enjoy learning, they make more rapid progress and begin to thrive!

I am available to tutor EYFS, KS1 and KS2 students in all primary subjects, including SATs preparation and 7+, 8+ and 11+ preparation.

I currently only offer online tuition due to family commitments.

I take a positive and fun approach to tutoring, ensuring that sessions are targeted specifically to children's needs, goals and interests. I ensure that all sessions are enjoyable and engaging, and link subjects to children's hobbies and interests where I can.
