I have been teaching for many years in a variety of subjects.
I have a passion for all things Geography and I feel that Geography is the most important and relevant subject for pupils in todays world.
10 years + teaching and coaching sports all over the world.
Several years teaching in secondary schools in Scotland, delivering CfE and senior phase exam level topics.
I like to use metacognition in my approach to teaching. Allowing learners to work things out for themselves after being given the information by the teacher. When learners learn like this they become much more confident in their own skills and knowledge and build a resilience within themselves that they do know the answer.
