I am a Cambridge University tutor and part-time secondary school teacher with many years of experience in a range of schools in Oxford, Geneva & Cambridge and would be delighted to bring my experience, enthusiasm and expertise to help students of any age and level with their studies.
As a German native speaker I studied German and cultural studies at the Freie Universität Berlin, and am a fully qualified teacher, having lived in the UK for over 30 years.
I am familiar with a variety of textbooks for all levels and exam boards like AQA, have taught KS 1-3, IGSCE, AS & A2 courses, and written numerous curricula tailored to individual students.
My position here at Cambridge University, teaching German and Latin supervisions for undergraduates, mainly at St John's College, involves preparing a wide range of weekly classes on current affairs, culture and history, as well as language and grammar modules.
I am passionate not only about high standards & a stimulating and challenging teaching methods, but also to make a class enjoyable and fun, with a great emphasis on pastoral care.
