Over 20 years of Economics and Business teaching experience and AQA examiner. I still teach part- time in a mixed Secondary School. I am very approachable and my aim is to build the confidence of students I tutor.

I have been teaching for over 20 years, 10 as subject leader for both Business and Economics at GCSE and A Level. I specialise in teaching the AQA exam board at all levels. I am currently teaching in a secondary mixed comprehensive school to KS4 and KS5 students.

Tutoring Experience

I am a very experienced fully qualified teacher . I teach both GCSE and A' level and have repeatedly successful results with all students regardless of their starting point. I have a particular strength in supporting students with their exam technique and make significant improvements to the grade defining essay questions. I can support a Year 12 student who is finding some concepts difficult and also prepare for Year 13 exams at any stage of the academic year.
I have just completed marking for the AQA exam board - paper 3 A level Economics 2022 series and 2023 series.

Tutoring Approach

As a tutor it is my job to ensure that significant improvements are made to a students confidence and in turn their grades in order to reach their full potential.

Please note that any cancellation within 24hours of a booked session will incur a £15 charge. Formal marking of papers is charged at my hourly rate.
