I am a highly experienced tutor specialising in the 11+ and school entrance examinations. I have extensive knowledge of ISEB and GL assessments, as well as different regional 11+ regimes, such as the Kent test.

I am currently enrolled in law school and will start working as a trainee lawyer at a top international firm in September 2026.

Tutoring Experience

I have 7 years of experience tutoring students for top schools around the country. This includes grammar schools such as Tiffin Girls', Latymer School, St Olave's, and Bexley Grammar.

I have also prepared students for entrance tests at competitive independent schools such as St Paul's Girls', Sevenoaks School and The Royal Grammar School.

Tutoring Approach

I will only take on 2 students at a time, as I like to be both invested in their progress and flexible in the scheduling of sessions.

I aim to rigorously prepare my students, without them realising it! I find that making my lessons enjoyable is highly effective for engagement and therefore learning. Much of my teaching is gamified or involves the student bringing their own interests to our lesson.

I undertake an initial assessment of a student's preparedness for the relevant examination and appreciate any notes from teachers or parents. I then will set out a proposed learning plan.

We will apply each piece of learning to practice examination questions. When tutoring is done right, the examination should feel like an obvious ending to our sessions together, rather than a surprise or a leap from our weekly work.
