Graduate with an excellent academic record, I have significant experience teaching through tutoring and volunteering. I have excellent IT skills and work well with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. I am keen to help children who have fallen behind as a result of COVID, as a result I am volunteering as a maths teacher at a primary school in Islington along with tutoring privately.

Tutoring Approach

I prefer to teach students holistic skills to improve their understanding of the subject rather than learning through continuous repetition and practice (although I accept it is sometimes necessary). Having completed a postgraduate degree in History, I have excellent analytical skills which I hope to impart to pupils to improve their essay-writing skills in subjects such as English and History, and I also enjoy assisting pupils with Mathematics through discovering ways to simplify complicated problems, and supporting their school learning.
