I have been teaching Chemistry at both GCSE and A-Level for nearly 20 years and am Head of Chemistry at a successful private school. As well as teaching and tutoring, I am also currently an exam marker for GCSE Chemistry which has given me further insight into what the questions are really looking for and common mistakes students make.
I have successfully tutored pupils for several years at GCSE and A-Level with a variety of exam boards, along with being a tutor at a popular Easter holiday revision course. I have many years of experience teaching GCSE Chemistry (triple science/separates course), Combined Science GCSE Chemistry and A-Level Chemistry.
I ascertain which areas a student feels they need to work at most, then have a mixture of tuition/revision followed by past paper question practice. If external exams are approaching, we can focus on exam technique as well as the key foundations which underpin the major topics.
