I’m a 28 year old with a passion for learning, whatever the area. My outside work love focuses on fitness, sport, history and ultimately spending as much time as possible with my one year old golden retriever.
I’ve been fully trained for four years teaching a variety of different students, with different backgrounds, starting points and goals. Allowing me to tailor my explanations and analogies to the student.
I currently work at Suffolk One, the only Ofsted rated Outstanding College in Suffolk. Teaching both A-Level Biology and the Human Biology BTEC.
My approach to teaching is based on students feeling safe and relaxed when learning. Feeling safe to make mistakes and learn from them.
Along with ensuring the understanding that underpins more advanced concepts, is secure.
Ultimately, my approach will be pragmatic and whatever works for the student. All students learn differently and I believe teachers should be flexible with their delivery.
