Judith Coreen

I am a highly experienced teacher, having taught for 47 years. I am a kind, patient teacher who is skilled at drawing out the best from her pupils and encouraging them to progress. My greatest skill is my ability to enthuse a pupil and help them to feel successful. I am a mother of grown-up children and a daughter who has graduated from the University of Birmingham medical school and is now a doctor in Nottingham.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in a variety of schools from reception to GCSE and for many years have taught pupils who have really struggled with reading and maths. I have developed a systematic, interesting programme that ensures rapid progress that can be quantified. Parents will notice the improvement very quickly and the pupil will start to feel confident. I specialise in pupils doing GCSE maths at foundation level and who are not predicted a grade 4. If your child is only getting a grade 2 or 3 I can help them to get that grade 4 that they need to get into college. I have helped many others do exactly that.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS ENGLISH AND MATHS: I am an experienced teacher and several of my pupils passes their exams on their first attempt.

Tutoring Approach

IMPORTANT: I specialise in those pupils who are struggling to get a GCSE level 4. in MATHS and to date have had a 95% success rate. I accept ONLY foundation students for maths Over the years I have refined my methods and produced workbooks that the pupils work through and take home to continue the tutoring under the supervision of their parent/s. This means that the tutoring continues during the week and that the progress is rapid. All workbooks are provided as part of the hourly fee.

I TRAVEL TO YOUR HOME and request that I have a table in a quiet area away from the television and the rest of the family, at which to tutor. I do charge travel fees of 60p per mile if your home is outside of the Stourport/ Bewdley/ Kidderminster triangle.
