Tutoring Experience

I worked at the International Centre of French at the University Lumière Lyon II for 15 years until 1996.
Since 1998 i have worked at Beauchamp College with younger students to prepare them for the Speaking A'level and GCSE in French. I have a good knowledge of the AQA syllabus. Previously I worked with the Edexcel syllabus.
Also, I did private sessions with students preparing their Oral GCSE and Oral A'level French.

Tutoring Approach

I make sure that the students feel at ease and confident when speaking French. I create all the necessary documents (card/vocabulary/research/questions) for the students, so that they are able to prepare themselves for discussions in french about the material. I guide/correct their speech, pronunciation.../give ideas/test the vocab they need to know per topic and use for their answers.
