I am a vocal tutor at the London College of Music and have taught adults and children for around 20 years privately and in various institutions. I have guided students through degree courses, grades 1-8 and prepared students for auditions and roles for choirs and companies. My students have ranged from young budding Westend stars, Brit School hopefuls, GCSE and A level students to mature voices - my oldest student is 80 years young.
I teach a classical singing technique that suits Musical Theatre, Choral repertoire and Opera. I am not a slave to one particular method but incorporate many different ideas to suit the student I am teaching. We always start technical exercises however old you are or where you are in your training and continue to apply this analysis of technique to repertoire.
