I am a dedicated and qualified tutor with a degree in Physics and four years of teaching experience, including serving as the Head of Physics. My expertise extends to all three sciences at the GCSE level, and I specialise in Physics at the A-level.
Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of guiding students to outstanding results, with all my tutees achieving A*s. Not only have I contributed to my school's record-breaking results, but I am also proud to share that none of my pupils have ever failed under my guidance.
I am genuinely passionate about making science accessible and enjoyable, and I look forward to helping you excel in your academic journey.
Science Tutor, Self-Employed
I regularly tutor a number of students, altering my delivery and style to tailor to the needs of individual pupils. I am happy to provide one off exam preparation, or regular sessions in parallel to the relevant curriculum. I have been complimented on my exemplary subject knowledge, which was a key factor in being given the G&T Physics A-level class at my current school.
Head of Physics Department, Science Teacher
Being a qualified science teacher equips me with a unique set of skills and experiences that make me an effective tutor. I have a solid understanding of various scientific concepts and the ability to break down complex ideas into digestible chunks for students. My experience in the classroom has honed my communication skills, allowing me to convey information in a clear and engaging manner. Additionally, I am adept at identifying individual learning styles and tailoring my approach to suit the needs of each student. My passion for science and teaching translates into a commitment to fostering curiosity and critical thinking in my students, traits that are invaluable in a tutoring relationship.
I will always tailor my tutoring style to the individual: I am happy to deliver a curriculum focused course; I can help pupils work through problems they've struggled with in class and explain complicated concepts; I may provide pupils with revision techniques and strategies, to ensure they excel not only in Physics but across the board.
