I have a doctorate degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Southampton. I have spent four years leading an international research group at Singapore's prestigious Nanyang Technological University (NTU). I have many years of experience conducting cutting-edge research, teaching and mentoring students up to PhD level and publishing in high-impact scientific journals. This year I have returned to the UK to accept a position as a senior engineer at a start-up.
I have been tutoring physics on and off for my entire academic career (including three engineering degrees and a post-doctoral research position) for a total of 12 years.
My tutoring approach is inspired by evidence-based scientific research into the best learning strategies combined with my personal learning and teaching experiences. Furthermore, I incorporate various lessons obtained throughout my academic career to inspire my students and teach them critical thinking skills that will aid them throughout the rest of their life, regardless of which career route they eventually take.
