I am an energetic 21-year-old tutor specialising in the Spanish Language. I have been studying Spanish for the past decade now, with my native Chilean private tutor, who perfected my knowledge of the language. I attended the SEK Budapest International School which is a Spanish/English private school. I did most of my studies in Spanish with native level tutors who also helped to enhance the level of my Spanish. I finished my A Level studies in Spanish in 2019 at Outwood Academy Danum, where then I got recalled for teaching assistance, thanks to my exceptional abilities to support the preparations for the final exams of Higher Level, GCSE students. Currently, I am an Archaeology & History student at the University of Sheffield.

Tutoring Experience

I am extremely fluent in Spanish, with a natural Standard South American accent. I can also fluently converse in English, Hungarian and Italian. During the course of my teaching assistance at the Academy, I had to prepare a class of 20+ kids to attain strong grades at their GCSE Speaking Exams. After a couple of lessons I was tasked with helping those students who were sitting their Higher exams. I helped them through a multitude of teaching materials and through being able to converse with these students fluently. I am also very experienced in online tutoring as 6 years of my private tutoring took place through the internet. This means that I have knowledge of how to effectively teach and convey the Spanish language to online pupils.

I can help my students in a variety of areas:
• First I will always identify their level and knowledge of the language, just so I can tailor the lessons to their needs. (FIRST LESSON)

After that I will:
• Improve their conversational skills by simulating dynamic and interesting conversations through my knowledge of the language.
• Help them with their grammar (heavily focusing on the tenses). This would usually be a thoroughly boring part of their studies, however through using the GCSE book and by creating fun and energetic verbal tasks for them, I can aid them in the hardest part of their Spanish studies in a youthful and energetic manner.
• Aid them with their written pieces, make corrections to their work and advising them on how to improve the next time they write one.
