I am a qualified science teacher based in Derbyshire. I studied my BSc in Medical Science and my MSc in Biomedical Science.
I provide GCSE (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and A Level (Biology and Chemistry) tutoring in areas including Alfreton, Ripley, Swanwick, Heage, Belper, Duffield and Clay Cross.
Tutoring Experience
After becoming a qualified teacher in 2018 I taught GCSE Science for 5 years, and I currently work as a Sixth Form Academic Mentor, delivering 1-to-1 and small group tutoring for A Level Biology and Chemistry.
I also deliver some academic support in A Level Psychology, BTEC Health and Social Care, GCSE Maths resit and I am the school coordinator for AQA's Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
Tutoring Approach
Lessons tend to incorporate a mixture of workbooks, flashcards/quizzes, exam-style questions/practice papers - all workbooks are provided during the first lesson and are yours to keep.
During term time I have tutoring availability in the evenings and at weekends, with additional weekday daytime availability during the holidays.
