I am an OXFORD student, studying History and Politics Christ Church. I received a First (Distinction) in my Prelims/First Year exams. As someone with a passionate belief in education and continual learning in and outside the curricular classroom, I'm always more than happy to impart knowledge to others.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored with ZeroGravity, the Black Excellence Network, and MyTutor previously, and have experience of over three years of tutoring in an educational setting online. Also, I have held numerous revision sessions for students in my own year group and below, helping to ensure all equally understand and learn from the sessions held. Also, I was a National Trust tour guide for up to two years.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is often didactic, but is entirely dependent upon the student's needs and abilities and so I am very flexible. I am often aligned with the personal styles and preferences of the student. My approach will include using old notes, essay plans, and documents as well as preparing new material. My style may combine giving mini lectures followed by follow ups as well as lots of interactive work too. As always, the approach that will work best will be the one that the student is most comfortable and challenged with too.
