I am a teacher of Maths and Physics with 40 years of experience in the field of A Levels and International Baccalaureate (IB). For the last 25 years I have worked as a full-time private tutor. I teach on a one to one basis or in small groups and achieve excellent results. At Maths A level I cover all modules including further maths together with MAT and STEP exams. I also teach Physics to A Level

Tutoring Experience

I have taught Maths and Physics in various schools for 5 years holding the position of Head of Maths. I then ran my own tutorial school in Abu Dhabi preparing students for A Level maths and physics for 10 years. For the last 25 years I have worked as a private tutor in Berkshire.

Tutoring Approach

I Tailor my lessons to the individual student. I first test a new student to guage ability and knowledge and then agree a programme that will achieve the goals set by the student. I set and mark homework and expect hard work to ensure good progress. I have a wide experience which enables me to stretch my students so that they can realise their potential.
