Hi, My name is Dat and it is a pleasure to meet you. I am a relaxed, patient and approachable tutor with 6 years experience tutoring a wide age range and at various abilities. I am a PhD student at Imperial College London and have been through the education system myself, so I know what it takes and what can be improved. I am proud to say my students have made great progress and I am always looking forward to meeting more students. I am passionate about science, teaching and making an impact. That is why I quit my finance job to return to Imperial.

Tutoring Approach

I have a patient and adaptive approach to tutoring with plenty of experience in adapting my tutoring style to fit the need of the student. When tutoring I like to begin with gauging a student's ability with taster questions to allow them to get comfortable and then improving their basic foundations and confidence in the subject. When I am happy with their progress, we can proceed to more advanced material or material of their own choosing. I also set weekly homework assignments to reinforce their learning.
